This presentation covers approaching and dealing with the exams and assessments for the Professional Certificate in Marketing. It addresses the structure of the Marketing Essentials exam paper, along with question analysis and what the examiner is looking for; how to tackle short answer questions; tips for approaching the exam both before and on examination day. It also covers how to present a report format in the exam. Next is how to approach the pre-seen case study examination for Assessing the Marketing Environment. This gives a breakdown of how to conduct the analysis of the pre-seen case including the internal, micro and macro analyses leading to the SWOT analysis. It gives tips on how to approach the exam and how to manage your time in the examination room and reviews key points from the Senior Examiner. The third area goes through the assignment structure for Marketing Research and Information and focuses on what should be included in the Research Proposal. It gives tips on how to approach the assignment and goes through the Senior Examiner's 'Common Pitfalls'. Finally the presentation addresses the structure of the Stakeholder Marketing assignment. It covers the requirements for the analysis and then identifies what is required for the 4,000 word report. Useful tips for presentation of the report are also given.
